Please make sure to read and follow these guidelines to avoid disqualification.

Confirmation of Registration entitles the Competitor a 3-day FULL Entry at the Show.

Gold winners will have a chance to win 1st place (P10,000 Cash Prize, Ribbon and Medal), 2nd place (P6,000 Cash Prize, Ribbon and Medal) & 3rd place (P4,000 Cash Prize, Ribbon and Medal)

Registration Guidelines
  • Sign up online at www.cakefiestamanila.com, or email us at info@cakefiestamanila.com for any assistance.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable and are not transferable.
  • All cakes must be taken to the registration table SMX Convention Center Manila, Function Room 4 on Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. Any entry not checked in by 8:00pm will be displayed but NOT JUDGED. Judging will start at 10:00 a.m. on November 15. The show is not responsible for loss or damage although all possible precautions will be taken.
  • Upon getting to the venue, proceed to the Registration Counters, provide your proof of online registration/s documentation/s to collect your Competitor ID. ID must be worn at all times.
  • No last minute change of category is allowed unless prior coordination with the Organizers have been made.
  • Children 7 years old and below are not allowed on the Showground or the registration and setup areas. Junior Competitor can have one parent or assistant.
  • If Competitors fail to submit their work, you may be disqualified from the future Competitions.
  • Mag-sign online sa www.cakefiestamanila.com, o mag-email sa amin sa info@cakefiestamanila.com para sa anumang tulong.
  • Ang lahat ng entry fees ay final at hindi na maibabalik at maililipat sa ibang pangalan.
  • Ang lahat ng mga cake ay dapat dalhin sa registration table SMX Convention Center Manila, Function Room 4 sa Huwebes, Nobyembre 14, 2019, mula 4:00 am – 8:00 pm. Ang anumang entry na hindi naka-check in sa 8:00 ng gabi ay maaaring isama sa display table ngunit HINDI kasali sa judging. Magsisimula ang paghusga sa 10:00 ng umaga ng Nobyembre 15. Ang CFM ay hindi mananagot sa pagkawala o pagkasira kahit na ang lahat ng mga posibleng pag-iingat ay gagawin ng CFM.
  • Sa pagdating sa venue, magpatuloy sa Registration Counters, ibigay ang iyong patunay ng dokumentasyon ng pagpaparehistro sa online upang kolektahin ang iyong Competitor ID. Dapat na isuot ang ID sa lahat ng oras.
  • Hindi pinahihintulutan ang huling minutong pagbabago ng kategorya maliban kung may naunang koordinasyon sa mga Organizer.
  • Ang mga batang 7 taong gulang at sa ibaba ay hindi pinapayagan sa Showground o sa rehistrasyon at mga lugar ng pag-setup. Ang Junior Competitor ay maaaring magkaroon ng isang magulang o katulong.
  • Kung ang mga Competitor ay hindi magsumite ng kanilang entry, maaari kang mawalan ng karapatan sa mga Kumpetisyon sa hinaharap.
General Competition Guidelines
  • This competition is open to everyone.
  • Each person may enter as many categories but only one entry per category.
  • Each entry must be solely the work of the Competitor except as indicated below regarding the Junior category:
    • For Junior entries (12 years old and under), an adult may only bake their cake. Child must cover, decorate, and carve (if necessary) – no exceptions!
  • When stated in category rules, dummy/Styrofoam cakes are allowed. These faux cakes are to be treated as real cakes. Non-edible materials must be encased in a protective barrier (including but not limited to: fondant, foil, straw, and chocolate). Non-edible products:
    • Non-edible tier separators may be used such as plastic or metal columns, cake drums, etc.
    • Cold porcelain must be identified as such and will be judged as if it were plastic with zero score.
    • Glue gun use is prohibited for attaching decorations.
    • Non-edible products and jewelry are prohibited, and we encourage making these items from edible materials instead.
    • Disco Dust are considered non-edible.
  • No commercial factory made flowers or decorations will be permitted; neither shows decorating skill.
  • Use of moulds and edible lace from mats are discouraged as they do not show decorating skills.
  • Cake boards can’t be visible. The board edge should be hidden with ribbon or similar material.
  • Each category will have state the maximum dimension of the size of the board. There is no height limit. All aspects and parts of the cake should be within this space.
  • Printed edible images may be used in an extraordinary and inventive way, not “as is”.
  • The show director(s) reserves the right to be the only voice to make show rules, make show decisions, evaluate contestant issues or arbitrate extenuating circumstances, each to be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Volunteers can assist and report but have no final authority.
  • Entries must be collected on Sunday, November 17th, between 5:00 & 7:00 P.M. And cannot be removed prior to 5:00pm unless special arrangements have been made prior to the show. The show is not responsible for entries, ribbons or awards that are left after pickup time.
  • Any real feathers of any kind are banned.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA PRIOR TO JUDGING IS NOT ALLOWED, posting of the process or discussion of any part of an entry or its final appearance on any social media site prior to judging will disqualify it from the show.
  • Ang kumpetisyon na ito ay bukas para sa lahat.
  • Ang bawat tao ay maaaring pumasok ng maraming mga kategorya ngunit isang entry lamang sa bawat kategorya.
  • Ang bawat entry ay dapat sariling gawa ng Competitor maliban sa ipinahiwatig sa ibaba tungkol sa Junior category:
    • Para sa Junior entry (12 taong gulang at sa pababa), ang isang may sapat na gulang ay maaari lamang magbake ng kanilang cake. Ang Junior Competitor and dapat magcover, magdekorasyon at magcarve (kung kailangan)-walang eksepsyon!
  • Kapag nakasaad sa mga tuntunin ng kategorya, pinapayagan ang dummy / Styrofoam cakes. Ang mga peke na cake na ito ay dapat ituring na mga tunay na cake. Ang mga di-nakakain na materyales ay dapat na nakabitin sa isang proteksiyon na barrier (kabilang ang ngunit hindi limitado sa: fondant, foil, straw, at tsokolate). Mga halimbawa ng produktong hindi nakakain:
    • Maaaring gamitin ang hindi nakakain na tier separator tulad ng mga plastik na pillar o metal, cake drum, atbp.
    • Cold porcelain must be identified as such and will be judged as if it were plastic with zero score.
    • Ang cold porcelain ay dapat tukuyin at ipaalam sa Judges sapagkat ito ay halintulad ng isang dekorasyon na plastic at ito ay walang puntos.
    • Paggamit ng glue gun ay ipinagbabawal sa pagdikit ng mga dekorasyon.
    • Ang mga di-nakakain na produkto at alahas ay ipinagbabawal, at hinihikayat namin ang paggawa ng mga bagay na ito sa halip na mga materyal na nakakain.
    • Ang Disco Dust ay itinuturing na hindi nakakain.
  • Walang mga komersyal gawang bulaklak o mga dekorasyon ang pahihintulutan; hindi ito nagpapakita ng dekorating skills.
  • Ang paggamit ng mga moulds at edible lace mula sa mga ay hindi hinihikayat na gammitin dahil hindi sila nagpapakita ng mga kasanayan sa dekorasyon.
  • Ang mga cake board ay hindi dapat nakikita. Ang gilid ng board ay dapat na maitago sa laso o katulad na materyal.
  • Bibigyan ng bawat kategorya ang maximum na dimensyon ng laki ng board. Walang limitasyon sa taas. Ang lahat ng mga aspeto at bahagi ng cake ay dapat na nasa loob ng puwang na ito.
  • Ang naka-print na edible image ay maaaring gamitin sa isang hindi pangkaraniwang at mapag-imbento na paraan, hindi “eksaktong ganon”.
  • Ang (mga) direktor ng palabas ay may karapatan na maging tanging boses upang gumawa ng mga patakaran ng palabas, gumawa ng mga desisyon, pag-aralan ang mga isyu ng mga kalahok o mag-arbitrate ng mga sitwasyon, na ang bawat isa ay tasahin batay sa isang kaso. Ang mga boluntaryo ay maaaring makatulong at mag-ulat ngunit walang huling awtoridad.
  • Dapat na kolektahin ang mga entry sa Linggo, Nobyembre 17, sa pagitan ng 5:00pm at 7:00 pm. At hindi maaaring alisin bago ang alas-5 ng hapon maliban kung ang mga espesyal na pag-aayos ay ginawa bago ang palabas. Ang CFM ay hindi mananagot para sa mga entry, mga ribbon o mga parangal na naiwan pagkatapos ng pickup time.
  • Ang anumang tunay na balahibo ng anumang uri ay pinagbawalan.
  • PAG-POST SA SOCIAL MEDIA BAGO ANG JUDGING ay hindi pinapayagan, ang pag-post ng proseso o talakayan ng anumang bahagi ng isang entry o ang kanyang huling hitsura sa anumang social media site bago ang paghusga ay aalisin ito mula sa Show at madidisqualify.
Intellectual Property Rights
  • By entering the competition, you recognize that Cake Fiesta Manila is not responsible for your work being photographed, or reproduced. You will not hold CFM and its employees liable, should this happen to your pieces.
  • By entering this competition, you are permitting CFM to post and publicize your competition pieces both online and in print. This includes during the Show, and in future campaigns, determined by CFM.
  • Sa pamamagitan ng pagsali sa kahit anong kategorya sa kumpetisyon, ito ay nagbbigay ng pahintulot sa Cake Fiesta Manila na ipakita o i-display ang iyong entry. MAHALAGANG PAALALA na kahit sino mang tao o bisita ay maaaring kunan ng litrato ang kahit na kaninong cake entry at ang iyong mga disenyo / trabaho ay maaaring magaya/makopya ngunit hindi mo maaaring masisi ang CFM o ang mga empleyado nito na managot sa anumang paraan kung ito ay mangyari.
  • Sa pamamagitan ng pagsali sa kumpetisyon, ang mga litrato ng iyong mga entries ay maaaring gamitin online sa pamamagitan ng Cake Fiesta Manila o ma i-print sa mga kaugnay na publication sa hinaharap bilang pagsang-ayon sa kasunduan kasama ng CFM team.
Awards / Post-Show Pointers
  • Judging will start on the first day, November15, 2019. Results will be posted on Saturday  by the end of the day. Award cards will be placed accordingly at this time. Awards to be won: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Certificate of Merit
  • Among Gold winners ONLY, the Judges will choose, 3rd, 2nd and 1st place winners.
  • One Score Sheet per entry will be left beside your piece with Judges’ feedback.
  • The judges’ decision is final. Feedback will not be available after the Show.
  • The Awarding Ceremony takes place on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the Main Stage.
  • Only the first, second and third places per category will be presented on stage. All other certificates will be available for collection during feedback sessions. A time and place will be announced for the rest of the winners to be able to take photos with the judge/s.
  • If available, cash prizes are to be signed for and collected from the Organizer’s office.
  • Ang Judging ay magaganap sa unang araw ng Show. Available ang mga resulta sa Sabado (hanggang matapos ang araw) at may mga award cards para sa mga nanalo. Ang Gold, Silver, Bronze o Certificate of Merit ay maaaring mapanalunan.
  • Sa mga nanalo ng mga Gold LAMANG, ang mga Judges ay pipili ng, 3rd, 2nd at 1st place winners.
  • Ang bawat Score Sheet ng bawat entry ay iiwan sa tabi ng iyong cake entry kasama ng Judges’ notes/feedback.
  • Ang desisyon ng mga Judges ay final. Wala nang mabibigay na feedback pagkatapos ng Show.
  • Ang Awarding Ceremony ay gaganapin sa Linggo – Nobyembre 17, 2019 sa main stage.
  • Dahil sa malaking potensyal na marami ang mananalo, tanging ang first, second and third places sa bawat kategorya ay gagawaran ng award sa entablado.
  • Ang lahat ng iba pang mga Certificates ay maaaring kolektahin sa panahon ng feedback session. Ang oras at lugar ay ipapahayag para sa natitirang mga nanalo upang makakuha ng mga litrato kasama ang mga Judges.
  • Ang mga papremyo na cash (kung naaangkop) ay kailangang i-claim sa Organizer’s office upang personal na mapirmahan ang katibayan na natanggap mo na ang premyo.
