The Online Live Competition will challenge your cake decorating skills as well as organization skills while under time pressure! Every Contestatnt will start at the same time and when the time is over, whether one is finished or not, they will have to step back from their working table. It is going to be so exciting and so much fun!
We are going to test you to your limits and we are not going to make it easy!

Judging Criterias
- GENERAL APPEARANCE – Includes overall first impression 10%
- PROPORTION, BALANCE AND USE OF COLOR – Includes artistry and visual interest, including application, color balance, continuity of color 20%
- NUMBER OF TECHNIQUES USED – number of and use of techniques incorporated into the item 10%
- CREATIVITY/ ORIGINAL/ CLEVER ADAPTATION OF AN IDEA – includes display and design composition. 20%
- DIFFICULTY of TECHNIQUES – assesses the varying complexity and uniqueness of techniques incorporated into the item 15%
- NEATNESS – Includes background application 10%
- PRECISION – Use of tools (includes tips, cutters, etc.) 15%

All fondant and other surprise products will be provided for by our Sponsor, DLA Naturals, and competitors cannot use any other brands other than what is provided. They will send White as well as colored fondant to you. (Philippines only) If from abroad, you are free to use other brands but you would not be able to show this while the competition is running.

Competitor should prepare: bottom tier: 8in diameter by 8in tall and top tier will be 6in diameter by 6in tall DUMMY/STYROFOAM CAKE. These can already be covered with solid colored fondant of their chosen color.Junior and Teens have different dummy size requirements.
Decorations must be strictly fondant only except for Sculpted Cake Category. Painting/air-brushing is allowed. You may use royal icing but it will be for glueing purpose only. No sprinkles, dragees, gold leaf, wafer paper or any other edible medium are allowed. Use of moulds is highly discouraged as this does not show decorating skills.
For Sculpted Cake Category, Competitor should prepare a real cake that will be carved and decorated during the Live Show, 2D or 3D.
Maximum of 4 Competitors ONLY will compete per Category. This is by application only.
Due to having unreliable internet connection and to prevent interruption of showing the competition during the actual date of the Show, the Battle will have to be held/filmed on the first week of December. We will coordinate with each Competitor for the date/time. This will be done privately in another exclusive Facebook Group.
Competitor should have 2 cameras ready for the filming. One will be connected to the internet as we do the Battle via an online streaming app and the other camera will just keep recording. In the event that you get any connection interuption, you must just carry on decorating until time is up.
Each Competitor will only have 1 hour to decorate the cake.
2 Tier Cake
18 and above (Total of 4 Participants)- One Adult Competitor
- No Coach allowed. Only
Competitiors are permitted. Theme: To be announced - Only 1hr to finish the cake
- By application only. If accepted,
registration fee is P500. - Each Competitor will decorate 2 tier dummy/styrofoam cake. Bottom: 8in diameter by 8in tall. Top: 6in diameter by 6in tall
- Cake board is 10-12in round, can be covered in any plain color and medium. Can be also covered in vinyl sticker as long as no design. Cover edge with plain matching ribbon if using cake drum.
Cake Group Category
18 and above (Total of 4 Participants)- Represented by 1 Adult Competitor
- No Coach allowed. Only
Competitiors are permitted. Theme: To be announced - Only 1hr to finish the cake

Total 4 from Luzon/Visayas/Mindanao- Only one Adult Competitor each from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will compete

- By application only. If accepted,
registration fee is P500. - Each Competitor will decorate 2 tier dummy/styrofoam cake. Bottom: 8in diameter by 8in tall. Top: 6in diameter by 6in tall
- Champion of this Category will represent Philippines for the International Category
- Cake board is 10-12in round, can be covered in any plain color and medium. Can be also covered in vinyl sticker as long as no design. Cover edge with plain matching ribbon if using cake drum.
Sculpted Cake
18 and above (Total of 4 Participants)- One Adult Competitor
- No Coach allowed. Only
Competitiors are permitted. Theme: Halloween - Only 1hr to finish the cake
- By application only. If accepted,
registration fee is P500. - Each Competitor will carve and decorate a small real cake, 2D or 3D.
- Cake cover and all decorations is strictly chocolate. Participants can also pre-prepare modeling chocolate in advance. Painting/air-brushing is allowed as accents only but not as main decoration
International
Total of 4 Competitors from Worldwide- One Competitor to represent one country
- The Champion from National Category will represent Philippines
- No Coach allowed. Only

Teen Category
13-17 years old (Total of 4 Participants)- Only one Adult Competitor each from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will compete
